Western Threaded Rod System
Threaded rod system is designed for heavy load ceiling and different drop ceiling.

- Intermediate channel 0.90(15x45x15){YS-340MPA, Finish-Galvalume AZ150(ASTM792)}

- Threaded Rod 6mm (GI-Z120)
- Z cleat (1mm thick Z120)
- M6 Drop in anchor fastener
Installation Procedure : M/F suspended Plain Ceiling includes WESTERN STEEL Perimeter channel 0.55(20x28x30){YS-340MPA, Finish-Galvalume AZ150(ASTM792)} is fixed along the perimeter of existing wall/partition with the help of (6x40) Metal Sleeve anchor at 600mm centres. WESTERN STEEL Threaded Rod 6mm (GI-Z120) is suspended at up to 450mm height by fixing it to the WESTERN M6 Drop in anchor fastener. Creating 1220mmx1200mm grid. WESTERN STEEL Intermediate channel 0.90(15x45x15){YS-340MPA, Finish-Galvalume AZ150(ASTM792)} is fixed to the WESTERN STEEL Threaded Rod 6mm (GI-Z120) with WESTERN STEEL Z cleat (1mm thick Z120) with 2 no’s of 04.2x13 WESTERN metal to metal screw. The WESTERN STEEL Ceiling Section 0.55(80x26x51){YS-340MPA, Finish-Galvalume AZ150(ASTM792)} is then fixed to the WESTERN STEEL Intermediate channel 0.90(15x45x15){YS-340MPA, Finish-Galvalume AZ150(ASTM792)} with the help of WESTERN Connecting Clip and in direction perpendicular to the Intermediate Channel at 457mm c/c. Sing;e ;ayer of 12.5mm tapered edge WIP STANDARD BOARD (conforming to IS2095 Part 1:2011) is then screw fixed to ceiling section with 25mm drywall screws at 300mm centres. Finally square and tapered edges of the boards are to be jointed and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing with Jointing Compound & Joint Paper tape.
